Cuc Phuong National Park is situated on the territory of the province of Ninh Binh, 120km south west of Ha Noi. The total ara of this garden is 25.000 hectares and on the borders of three provinces of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa.
Means
From Hanoi, if you go by bus, you should arrive at Giap Bat bus station to take Nho Quan – Me bus which go to Nho Quan station where there is a bus to Cuc Phuong nation park.
From Hanoi, take National Highway 1A toward Ninh Binh , turn right Gian Khau three-way crossroads ( far from Ninh Binh city 10 km ) along National Highway 12A, go straight Nho Quan town about 2 km and turn left to Cuc Phuong .
From Ninh Binh, follow National Highway 1A to Hanoi, go straight Ninh Binh city 5 km, turn left Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and move from the spiritual tourism Bai Dinh , Dong Chuong resort lake to Cuc Phuong. Or from Ninh Binh, follow National Highway 1A towards Hanoi to Gian Khau junction, turn left National Highway 12A, go through Nho Quan town about 2km and turn left to Cuc Phuong.
From Thanh Hoa city, go down National Highway 1A towards Hanoi, turn left Bim Son town (approximately 3km – 4km), turn right Pho Cat intersection, turn left Trai Ngoc junction to Cuc Phuong.

A few things to note
In the rainy season, there are many leeches in Cuc Phuong. To avoid leeches, you should buy DEP medicines in the form of cream. Using DEP applied to sensitive areas such as heads, necks, wrists, legs and waists. DEP makes smell that mosquitoes and leeches are afraid of.
